These are lush, and if we're making American style cookies these are what they'll be.  BE WARNED THEY ARE MOREISH!!!!!

 Butter/Stork 100g (3¼oz)
Sugar 100g (3¼oz)
Brown sugar 70g (2¼oz)

1 egg
Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp

Bicarbonate soda 1/2 tsp
Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Plain flour 115g  (3¾oz)
rolled oats 75g (blended into a powder like flour)

Desicated Coconut 70g (2¼oz)
Chocolate (grated) 125g (4oz)
Choc chip or cherries etc 100g (3¼oz)

Directions:

Cream together both sugars & butter

Add egg and vanilla & mix

Add flour, oats, salt, bicarbonate soda, baking powder & mix.

Add coconut, chocoloate, cherries(etc) and mix well.

Roll into about 20-24 balls, place them on a baking tray about 2-3" appart and put them in the oven for 10-12 minutes on 190c
Remove when golden, leave to cool for 5 minutes then transfer them to a cooling tray.

The last 2 ingredients can vary depending on what type of cookie you'd like to make i.e :

coconut 70g (2¼oz)
cherries 100g (chopped) (3¼oz)
white chocolate (grated) 125g (4oz)

or

coconut 70g (2¼oz)
dark choc chips 100g (3¼oz)
milk chocolate (grated) 125g (4oz)

or

coconut 70g (2¼oz)
chopped mixed nuts 100g (3¼oz)
dark chocolate (grated) 125g (4oz)

or

coconut 70g (2¼oz)
mixed chopped nuts 50g (1½oz)
raisins (chopped) 50g (1¾oz)
dark chocolate (grated) 125g (4oz)

As long as the quantity of chocolate is 125g (4oz) you can make whatever type you want, and as long as the quantity of fruit/nuts/chips/ mini smarties!/whatever, is 100g (3¼oz) you can put whatever you prefer in them.

There's loads of combinations, I have even ditched the coconut and replaced it with nuts (but I prefered it with) so the last ingredients are basically the type you are
 going to make.
